Hi!

My name is Alexei Bochenek.

I currently work as the Creative Director for the animation studio Titmouse.

As the CD at Titmouse, I work on the development of all kinds of different animated projects.

In the past, I've directed a number of projects, myself. Here are some of the animated short film projects I've directed over the past couple years. You'll find that most of the things I pour my energy into are about badass outcasts with secret sensitive sides. I guess it's kind of my thing. Honestly, it probably has to do with all the Trigun I watched as a teenager. I'm realizing just now as I type this that I've spent my entire adult life just trying to make more Trigun. I'm not even mad about it. Trigun rules. Sorry, right, the films:

APEX LEGENDS: FAMILY BUSINESS

APEX LEGENDS: DEFIANCE

APEX LEGENDS: GRIDIRON

APEX LEGENDS: ESCAPE

APEX LEGENDS: EMERGENCE

APEX LEGENDS: LEGACY

MASS EFFECT

KNOCKOUT CITY

Besides directing CG films, I've also writen and directed a few video games. Usually these are for-hire type gigs for other brands who are looking for somebody to take their characters in a... different direction. Specifically, a sexy anime-influenced direction.

I LOVE YOU COLONEL SANDERS, A FINGER LICKIN' GOOD DATING SIMULATOR

DEAD BY DAYLIGHT, HOOKED ON YOU

So, now that you've watched my stuff, do you still want to know more?

You may want to read this interview I did in Adweek Magazine, where I speak about my personal take on the power of pop culture to bring us together. You could also watch this panel discussion I did, hosted by the Independent Game Developers Association where I discuss making narratative games with a group of other creators.

If you'd like to talk to me directly, don't hesitate to get in touch. Twitter is a pretty safe bet, as I'm on there just about every day. I also have a LinkedIn for the professional types.

Not the tweeting type? You can email me at heyalexei {at} gmail.com, if that's more your speed.

Cheers!
